Accessibility statement
Keel & Hull is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Every page works on phones, tablets and desktops, with text that reflows at up to 400% zoom and no horizontal scrolling.
- All functionality is available from a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link on every page.
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and no time limits other than the 10-minute validity of sign-in codes (you can always request a new one).
- Sign-in does not require remembering a password; codes are delivered by email or SMS, your choice.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed; text contrast meets AA ratios.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers; charts have text summaries.
- Live auction countdowns and status updates are announced politely and do not steal focus; reduced-motion preferences are respected.
- We use semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) so pages are easy to navigate with a screen reader.
Accessibility mode
Every page already meets the baseline above. If you'd like more, switch on Accessibility mode from the button in the header (or below). It is off by default and, once on, stays on for a year on this device. It turns on, all at once:
- Larger text (about 12% bigger everywhere) with more line spacing
- Higher contrast colours, solid backgrounds and stronger borders
- Links underlined everywhere, not just on hover
- No animation or transitions, and messages that stay on screen until you dismiss them
- Larger buttons and tap targets, and a focus outline that is always visible
Your browser's own settings — zoom, reader view, forced colours, reduced motion — are respected as well.
Known limitations
- Photos are uploaded by sellers; we ask for accurate descriptions but cannot guarantee the quality of every image's alternative text. Listing titles are used as fallbacks.
- Some third-party content (for example a seller's external website) is outside our control.

Technical information
This site is built with standard HTML5, CSS and a small amount of progressive-enhancement JavaScript; it remains usable with JavaScript disabled. We test with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, with VoiceOver and NVDA, and with keyboard-only navigation.
